Lynette Long is the Managing Director, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition of the Emergent Holdings Human Resources team. Before being named Managing Director in 2019, Lynette was a Sr. HR Business Partner and Manager, Talent and Organizational Development for Accident Fund Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In this role Lynette was responsible for developing and executing the company’s talent strategies and learning and development curriculum.
Prior to joining Accident Fund/Emergent Holdings, Lynette was Senior Manager of Labor and Employee Relations for Sparrow Health Care Systems and was responsible for negotiating and managing the collective bargaining agreement labor where over 1,600 employees were represented by the UAW. Lynette earned an MA from Michigan State University, In Organizational Development, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources also from Michigan State University.
