Kyle Roedersheimer, Emergency Medicine Physician Atrium Health

Kyle received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Clemson University.

A passion to serve led Kyle to Teach For America Corps; serving as a member of a highly selective national group who commit two years teaching at low-income, under-resourced public schools.

He is founder of Propelling Adolescents Towards Careers in Healthcare (PATCH)–a healthcare pipeline program for minority and underserved high school students; founded during his 3rd year in medical school. Kyle currently serves as its’ coordinator and board member.

His accomplishment include receiving the Louisa Littleton Award which recognizes the resident who demonstrates a strong passion for the profession of medicine, values diversity, is committed to reducing healthcare inequities and caring for the underserved; and the CMC Emergency Medicine Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award, recognizing leadership in the care of the underserved as manifested by volunteerism and public service
