Diversity MBA Magazine Names TOP 50 Under 50
CORPORATE EXECUTIVES ON THE MOVE

CHICAGODiversity MBA Magazine, a nationally distributed publication targeting African-American MBAs, students and other professionals, names the Top 50 under 50 African-American MBA corporate executives to be featured in the Summer 2007 issue.

As a complement to its Spring 2007 issue, which published survey results of its Top 50 Companies for African-American MBAs to Work; Diversity MBA Magazine recognized exceptional executives who have reached the pinnacle of success within the highly competitive corporate environment by acknowledging the Top 50 MBAs Under 50 for the third consecutive year.  Diversity MBA Magazine is pleased to report that many of the companies named as one of the best companies for Black MBAs to work were also mentioned in this issue due to their employee(s)’ recognition as a Top 50 under 50 Executive.  They include Allstate Insurance Co., Banc of America Securities, Verizon Wireless, Comcast, JPMorgan, Sun Trust Bank, DaimlerChrysler, Sprint Nextel, Pitney Bowes Inc., The Coca-Cola Company, Wachovia Bank, N.A. and Wells Fargo.  These companies have not only demonstrated their strong commitment to diversity but were eager to spotlight their talented African-American executives as well.

The Top 50 Under 50 Executives were selected based on their position within a publicly or privately traded company, the size of the budget they manage, their community service work and the MBA degree they hold.  “It makes us proud to know that corporations find value in diversity and are willing to recognize their top talent for the great contributions they make to their bottom line.  This confirms that diversity in the workplace is fiscally beneficial,” said Pamela McElvane, Publisher & CEO of P&L Publishing.

Diversity MBA Magazine is published by P&L Publishing.  The magazine provides information on industry research findings, continuing education, networking opportunities, and professional development advice for African-American entrepreneurs and African Americans working in corporate America. It also covers news from NBMBAA national and local chapters. Diversity MBA Magazine is distributed to top business schools and alumni associations, and is available in select bookstores, retail outlets and newsstands throughout America
